Make your car's wired CarPlay or Android Auto wireless. Plug the adaptor into the USB port you normally use for your phone cable, pair your phone once, and from then on it connects by itself when you get in. Maps, calls and music stay on your car's own screen, with no cable to plug in each time.
This version is held in stock in the UK and comes with a USB-C adapter, so it also fits newer cars that only have USB-C ports. Whether you know it as a wireless CarPlay adapter, dongle or box, it does one job: it turns a wired connection into a wireless one.
Setting it up
- Plug the adaptor into your car's CarPlay or Android Auto USB port (use the USB-C adapter if your car only has USB-C).
- Turn on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your phone.
- In your phone's Bluetooth settings, find the adaptor's name and connect.
- After the first pairing, it reconnects automatically on future drives.
